The search for the missing girl continues: "The hope is there"

On Thursday, the search for the missing 17-year-old girl resumes. Police will continue to search dogs and drones to find the girl.

- It is of great importance for relatives and the investigation to find her. But the hope has diminished considerably, says Peter Adlersson.

According to the police, it is difficult to say how big the search effort is. Several voluntary organizations will participate in the search. So far, hundreds have searched for the girl.

- The hope is there, but it gets smaller and smaller every hour that goes by, says Peter Adlersson.

Nothing new has emerged during the night between Wednesday and Thursday that causes the investigation to take a different direction during the day.

The police are appealing for tips from the public to find the girl. They have received many tips but want more.

- We want people to hear from the little ones that you have seen, it may be what makes a difference, says Peter Adlersson.
