According to the document of the department, the new rules for the procedure for conducting a medical examination will enter into force on July 1, 2020. The order was signed by Minister of Health Veronika Skvortsova.

As the press service of the ministry noted, the decision to postpone the entry into force of the order was made taking into account the concerns of citizens.

“An additional analysis of the methods used for the survey will be carried out in order to ensure their effectiveness with adequate pricing in the regions,” the Ministry of Health emphasized.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health decided to postpone the entry into force of a new medical examination procedure for drivers, which would lead to higher prices for certificates.

Under the new rules, the scope of research would increase: it would be necessary to give urine for 11 types of drugs and blood for the presence of the CDT enzyme, a marker of chronic alcohol abuse.

Russian President Vladimir Putin called nonsense attempts to introduce a new medical examination procedure.
