Alaa Mubarak, son of former Egyptian President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, revealed that his mother, Suzanne Mubarak, is in intensive care.

"God is still in care, but good, God willing, and thank you for your question," Alaa wrote in response to a question from one of his followers on Twitter about his mother's health.
Alaa's response followed an operation on his mother earlier this month, on November 4, without disclosing the nature of her health or details.

Alaa Mubarak's tweet spread on social media sites, amid the complete discretion of her family about the circumstances and details of her health.

Sources close to the family said that Susan had undergone a minimally invasive surgery at Maadi Military Hospital after feeling great pain during the last period in the back and vertebrae.

In August, Hassan al-Ghandour, one of the founders of the Mubarak Sons Association, said that Suzanne Thabet, former president Hosni Mubarak's wife, had undergone back surgery and confirmed her health after the surgery.

Al-Ghandour published through his personal account on Facebook, a picture of Susan Thabet, commented: "The disc operation is simple, thank God."
