It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Kremlin press service.

"Russian President Putin will hold a meeting of the Russian Security Council on November 22 at which it is planned to consider the prospects for the development of the Armed Forces, other troops, military units and bodies performing missions in the defense field for the period until 2030," the Kremlin said.

In October, the Thunder-2019 strategic exercises were held under the leadership of the President of Russia. As part of the exercises, ballistic and cruise missile launches were carried out.

In early November, Putin said that the overall reduction in defense spending in Russia is due to the fact that the peak of measures to modernize military equipment and technology has been passed.
