21 November 20192.54 A strong earthquake of magnitude 6.1 was recorded at 6:50 local time (00:50 today in Italy) in northwest Laos, on the border with Thailand. According to data from the Italian National Institute of Geophysics Evulcanology (Ingv) and from the US Geological Survey, the earthquake had a hypocentre 12 km deep and epicenter between the Laotian city of Sainyabuli and the Thai district of Chaloem Phra Kiat.
