21 November 201923.00 Approximately 1 European out of 4, 25% of the population, has "strong negative attitudes" towards Jews. This is revealed by an investigation into anti-Semitism carried out in Europe, Canada, South Africa, Argentina and Brazil between April and June of 2019 for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), an international Jewish organization. In Europe, few changes in the west but a sharp increase in anti-Jewish prejudices in the east and in the center, compared to 2015: Poland + 11%, Ukraine + 14%, Russia + 8%. Anti-Semitic attitudes in Italy are down, -11% compared to 2015.
