- It is absolutely no surprise to us. We know how the booking calendar looks both historically and forwards. We had obviously seen even more women and variety, says Lotta Nibell, CEO of Got event, says Lotta Nibell.

But you run the arena, you have to be able to put pressure on the booking companies?

- Not from that perspective. Without it, it wants to be an arena that fits, that Gothenburg is suitable for that artist and that production is suitable. There are a lot of great artists, such as Beyoncé and Ariana Grande, but they choose to do indoor tours, and it's clear when Ullevi falls away, says Lotta Nibell.

- It's a big arena to fill. And that is whether you are a woman or a man. The alternative would have been to say no to the male artists, and neither do we, we do not have that benefit. It is important to fill the calendar with as much as possible, says Lotta Nibell.

Even distribution among visitors

She says that the distribution of women and men among the concert visitors is evenly distributed.

- If we look at Ullevi, 54 percent of the visitors are women, says Lotta Nibell.

Someone said you could rename it to "Gubbevi", what do you think about it?

- I think that would have been very unfortunate, we are glad it is called Ullevi, says Lotta Nibell.
