November 20, 2019 Prince Andrew, hit by the scandal over his association with Jeffrey Epstein, the American billionaire who died suicide in prison after being accused of sexual abuse of underage girls, retires from public duties as a member of the British royal family "for the next future".

The news comes from the BBC which reports rumors leaked from Buckingham Palace. According to the British broadcaster and the American NBC, the Duke of York, third son of Elizabeth II, would directly ask the queen to withdraw from official public life and take the step back. The sovereign would have consented.
