“NATO remains the only platform that North America and Europe need every day to debate, make decisions and guarantee strong transatlantic unity,” Stoltenberg quoted Interfax as saying.
He noted that at a meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers in Brussels, Russia, China and arms control will be discussed.
Stoltenberg said earlier that NATO should strive to improve relations with Russia, but not to the detriment of principles and security.
