He drew attention to the fact that sanctions forced Russia to engage in import substitution, where it concerns national interests.

“You know, I’ll tell you honestly, and I can already say frankly and publicly, after the first steps in this sanctions list were taken, I had a certain anxiety,” he said.

He thanked all the “colleagues - unknown people who each work in the workplace” for a very serious big step in increasing the economic and technological sovereignty of Russia.

He also noted that the restrictions that have been introduced in the US administration in recent years have a boomerang effect, since American companies fell under them.
