Washington (AP) - In the impeachment investigation in the US, a key witness has charged US President Donald Trump and confirmed key allegations of the Democrats. US Ambassador to the EU, Gordon Sondland, said in the US House of Representatives that he had worked with his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani in dealing with Ukraine on Trump's express orders. Giuliani demanded a quid pro quo for a meeting of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Selenskyj with Trump in the White House, Sondland said. Trump has always denied this.
