The Scientology movement can be described as a kind of religious philosophy and business, where members buy different courses to reach the CLEAR goal, when they have to escape illness and have perfect minds.

Stephen Kent, a sociology researcher at the University of Alberta, Canada, calls the Scientology Movement a "controlling, manipulative organization" and is strongly critical of Narconon's business.

- The purpose is to recruit people to Scientology. It is very clear, he says.

The treatment center in Skåne denies the connections and states that you only pay a license fee to Narconon's international part to use its methods.
