December 21, 2016The death toll from the explosions that destroyed the Tultepec fireworks market in central Mexico rose to at least 36 dead and 72 wounded. The Mexican state prosecutor, Alejandro Gomez, announced this, pointing out that so far only two of the victims - a man and a 10-year-old girl - have been identified.

Six chain explosions blew up the 'San Pablito' fireworks market in Tultepec, a town of 100,000 inhabitants 50 km north of Mexico City, known throughout the country as' the mecca of pyrotechnics '. Almost nothing remains of the market: many of the shops have exploded, as if there had been a bombing, the local media specify.
