"At 01.20 (00.20 Swedish time) on Wednesday several robots from Israeli warplanes were targeted at the Damascus area," writes Syria's state news agency Sana, citing military sources, and continues:
"Our air defense confronted the heavy attack and stopped the enemy robots and could destroy most of them before reaching their targets."
On Tuesday, Israel stated that four rockets had been fired from Syria. The Israeli military now confirms that it has fired a number of robots at targets belonging to Iran's Revolutionary Guard in Syria in response to the action.
