It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the traffic police of Russia.

“The bill provides for the Ministry of Internal Affairs to receive information about drivers who have received medical contraindications for driving before the expiration of the driver’s license,” the agency said.

If the driver finds medical contraindications to driving, this information can be sent to a unified state health information system. At the same time, drivers in this case will need to undergo an extraordinary medical examination within a month.

At the same time, relevant information will be sent to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for a possible cancellation of a driver’s license.

It is specified that the amendments provide for the creation of an electronic version of the medical report, to which departments will have access.

In January 2019, the Ministry of Labor proposed the abolition of medical examinations by office employees.
