England: Mourinho appointed coach of Tottenham to replace Pochettino (club)

Portugal's Jose Mourinho has been named coach of Tottenham to replace Argentina's Mauricio Pochettino, who has been sacked, the club said on Wednesday.

Mourinho, who has previously coached Chelsea and Manchester United in the Premier League, signed a current contract until the 2022-2023 season, the club said in a statement.
