According to TASS, Windman testified at a hearing in a special intelligence committee of the House of Representatives of the American Congress as part of the impeachment process of US President Donald Trump.
According to him, in May 2019, he visited Kiev, where he attended the inauguration ceremony of Vladimir Zelensky.
Windman said that then Danilyuk offered him the post of minister.
“He made this proposal three times,” Windman said, noting that he had rejected all these offers.
Also, an SNB officer called the situation “rather comical” when he was offered to become the Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
On September 30, Zelensky signed a decree dismissing Alexander Danilyuk from the post of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
