19 November 2019E 'of 32 people intoxicated the balance of the fire occurred this morning at around 10 am on the A10 motorway between Spotorno and Savona.For reasons yet to be clarified, a truck caught fire inside the Fornaci tunnel: the thick black smoke invaded the tunnel and intoxicated the motorists trapped inside.
Eventually 32 people were taken to the San Paolo di Savona and Santa Corona di Pietra Ligure hospitals. Many of them were on a bus that was immediately behind the truck.
The driver of the heavy vehicle came out unscathed from the fire. On the spot several ambulances and firefighters, who managed to tame the flames with difficulty.
The stretch of motorway is closed with mandatory exits to Savona and Pietra Ligure.
