On February 1st, 2018 it snowed heavily in Västernorrland. It was also windy and cold. The next day, the Kramforskwoman was found dead on her plot, just a few meters from her house.

Here is the prosecutor's main argument for prosecuting the taxi driver and his two bosses and what the trial is about:

Taxi driver

The prosecutor claims that the taxi driver never completed the sick leave because he left the woman at the road about 40 meters from her front door. According to the agreement between the taxi company and the Public Transport Authority, the staff must follow up to the door.

The driver says he offered to follow the woman to the door but that she refused. He refuses a crime.

The head of the taxi company

The Prosecutor believes that the site manager has failed in his educational responsibility because there were insufficient instructions for the staff as to what applies in case of sick leave. According to the prosecutor, routines have been lacking for how the drivers should act on sick leave to ensure that travelers arrive at the gate / entrance.

As a result, the site manager has created danger for the woman. The site manager refuses a crime and says there are three experienced taxi drivers who help train new drivers. All information must have been general and oral.

The taxi company chairman

The prosecutor believes that the chairman of the taxi company has breached his responsibility by not checking that the site manager has produced any training material about how a driver should act during a sick trip. As a result, he has, according to the indictment, caused danger to the woman.

The chairman denies the allegations and, in interrogation, says that it is the responsibility of the site manager to inform the drivers of their obligations. He also says he had no reason to check if the drivers were trained because it has always worked well.

The trial continues during Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
