The State Duma adopted in the second reading the bill on individuals-foreign agents

"The laws on the media and on the protection of information are being amended to equate citizens with the media acting as a foreign agent," the statement said.

Earlier, the State Duma committee supported the amendments to recognize individuals as foreign media agents.

Parliamentarian Yevgeny Fedorov commented on the need for such a bill by the FAN.
