The PP has demanded to the general secretary of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, to assume his "political responsibility" before the ruling of the ERE, because if he does not do it already "he will not be able to be president, not even in functions". This was stated by Teodoro García Egea, general secretary of the 'popular', at a press conference. "We want to know if Mr. Pedro Sánchez shares his extensive archive on the grounds that the sentences to a party are attributable to his leader."

"We want to know if he, who is very fond of motions of censorship, is going to present a motion against himself today," he added. "We want to know where Sanchez is hidden, where he has to leave to give an explanation to the Spaniards", because if he doesn't give it, he must resign, he explained, before repeating that the PP cannot agree with the socialist leader and ask the militancy of the PSOE to "stop the pact" with Podemos. "The problem, today, is Pedro Sánchez."

Abascal asks to isolate the PSOE for corrupt

The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has asked the of Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, to isolate the PSOE and not agree with him after hearing the ruling on the case of the ERE.

In a tweet, Abascal points out that this sentence should have as an answer "the isolation of the most corrupt party in Spain", the PSOE, but that (Podemos) will not do so because "you are equal".

It reproduces a tweet from Iglesias, of May 2018, when the sentence on Gürtel and the corruption of the PP came out, in which then Iglesias indicated that this judicial decision should have as a response a motion of censure of the opposition and showed his support for the secretary General of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez, to present it.

Abascal adds that the reality of socialism is "spending money on drugs and brothels on the money of the people left in poverty."

Speaking to journalists before hearing the judicial decision on the ERE, he has insisted that the ruling "will help more and more Spaniards know how far the PSOE uses the institutions at its service when it is in power."

"And that is why it is very important that now this government of socialists, communists, supported by separatism does not occur. That is, all the enemies of Spain at this time together, trying to launch a government against Spain," he concluded , reports Efe.

For his part, and without wanting to explicitly ask Sánchez for responsibilities, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros has hinted at it when referring to what the socialist leader said in a "similar" case with the PP. Therefore, it has encouraged him to "make a very deep reflection of the responsibility that everyone has in the Socialist Party."

Rivera: "The Spaniards have been robbed"

From Ciudadanos, its former president, Albert Rivera, has called on Pedro Sánchez to say if he will resign after the sentence has been made public: "Millions and millions of euros have been stolen from the Spaniards," he stressed.

Through his Twitter account, he recalled that the same question was asked to the president in the investiture debate in July and then insisted on the electoral debates of 28-A and 10-N, without obtaining any answer.

"Today we finally have the ruling of the ERE of the PSOE, the Spanish have been robbed of millions and millions of euros. Are you going to resign, Mr. Sanchez? YES or NO?" Rivera asked, who resigned last Monday after the electoral breakdown of Citizens.
