In the Amur region will check students who own weapons


Police and the Russian Guard of the Amur Region are developing preventive measures to check students who own weapons after firing at Blagoveshchensk College.

“The police, together with the Russian Guard, are developing a set of preventive measures to verify the owners of weapons from among the students of secondary and higher education institutions,” RIA Novosti reports from the regional government.

It is also noted that the authorities of the Amur Region after an emergency in the Amur College of Construction and Housing and Communal Services want to transfer the protection of colleges and universities from private security companies to Rosguard employees.

On November 14, a 19-year-old student fired at a college in Blagoveshchensk. His peer died, three more young people were injured. The police started a shootout with an attacker, he was blocked in the audience and committed suicide.

The city authorities after the incident checked the chop at school. His general director and security guard were arrested.
