The EDF group became Tuesday the 2nd national sponsor of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Paris-2024, after the BPCE, said Tuesday the two actors at a press conference at the headquarters of the company in Paris.
The amount of the contract should not be disclosed but the group, majority owned by the state (83.49%), has the rank "premium", the highest for domestic sponsors, welcomed the CEO of the energy producing group, Jean-Bernard Lévy. The amount of this partnership is above 100 million euros, according to estimates. EDF will also be the official electricity and gas supplier of Paris-2024.
