- It is because it has been so cloudy in Växjö in November. It has been unusually little sun so far, says meteorologist Åsa Rasmussen.

It is a survey from SMHI that shows that Växjö has had the least number of sun hours of the 19 different cities surveyed from November 1.

2.2 hours of solar time for Växjö is the smallest since 1993 when there were 5 hours of sunshine for the whole of November. According to statistics, 45 solar hours are normally for a November month in Växjö.

- For it to count as sun hours, the sunshine must be strong enough and reach a certain limit. It is not enough to just see the sun, otherwise in Luleå, for example, you would get huge hours of sunshine for it to be the sun around the clock in the summer, says Åsa Rasmussen.

Still dark

- It looks like the coming period is mild and humid so it may not immediately throw on more sun. I think many people talk about "oh how dark it is" and then it is clear that it gets even darker if you have thick clouds not to see the sun even once.
