The incident occurred the night between June 12 and 13. The woman was seriously injured and it took a while before she could be heard by the police.
The 25-year-old has claimed that he is innocent and that he tried to prevent the woman from jumping off the balcony.
However, testimony and the police's technical investigation revealed another scenario, the district court says, and wrote in the judgment that "the reported course indicates with no insignificant evidence that XXX XXX was thrown or pushed out of the balcony and did not jump himself".
The 25-year-old is sentenced to forensic psychiatric care with special discharge testing and deportation.
