According to RIA Novosti, she said this at a press conference in Minsk.

“We came to the following conclusions: early parliamentary elections were held in a calm atmosphere, but did not meet important international standards for democratic elections,” Soderfelt said.

She added that observers recorded in Belarus "neglect of fundamental freedoms - assembly and expression."

The OSCE also said that the “too restrictive process prevented” the participation of the opposition in the Belarusian parliamentary elections.

On November 17, elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly took place in Belarus. According to the CEC of Belarus, the opposition did not enter the new composition of the lower house of parliament.
