Spain coach Robert Moreno, announced on the start by the Spanish press, did not appear in a post-match press conference on Monday night, following Spain's broad victory over Spain. Romania to Madrid (5-0).

Without giving any explanation, Robert Moreno (42) did not speak to the press after the last match of La Roja in the frame of the qualifiers at the Euro-2020. The Federation did not speak either.

Just before the kickoff of the match against Romania on Monday night at the Wanda Metropolitano stadium in Madrid, the Spanish press announced that Moreno would no longer be the coach of Spain at Euro-2020.

According to the press, the Federation, led by Luis Rubiales, would have already proposed to the former coach of the Roja Luis Enrique (2018-2019), who had abandoned the post on June 19 for "personal reasons" (bereaved by the death one of his daughters in August), to take over the team.

On September 3, Robert Moreno had already declared that he would agree to "step aside to rework" one day as Luis Enrique's deputy, in the name of his friendship, the two men who had worked together AS Roma (2011-2012), Celta de Vigo (2013-2014) and FC Barcelona (2014-2017).

The official announcement of Moreno's departure and the change of coach could occur on Tuesday, at a press conference called at 12:30 at the headquarters of the Spanish Football Federation, in Las Rozas.

For the moment, Spain has had four coaches in two years, including Robert Moreno, appointed in June to replace Luis Enrique.
