This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the former Ukrainian leader.

“The so-called suspicion, exhibited in a telegram by the deputy head of the administration, Yanukovych Portnov, and then copied by the press service of the GDB, is nothing more than a Russian order to harm the reputation of the fifth president,” Poroshenko said in the press service.

Along with this, they stated that this is also an “attempt to prevent Petro Poroshenko from holding a series of meetings with foreign leaders” at several events.

Earlier, the GDB sent a draft notice of suspicion to Poroshenko to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. The department also sent a draft request to the Verkhovna Rada for an agreement on criminal prosecution of Poroshenko, since he is the current deputy of the Ukrainian parliament.

In October, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka said that he would present Poroshenko with suspicion of crimes when there was enough evidence.
