It is investigated for murder on the death of Imen Chatbouri, the former 37-year-old Tunisian athletics champion found dead at dawn on May 2 on the quay of the Tiber, with her gym bag nearby. Immediately the prosecutor's office in Rome had opened an investigation for manslaughter, but now a video would nail the killer, and the hunt for the person responsible for the death of the woman now has a specific goal.

A man followed her from a distance, at night
From the video of some surveillance cameras it emerges that a man followed her from a distance, at night. And when she leaned her elbows on the parapet of the bridge, a little dazed by the alcohol, she grabbed her ankles and threw her downstairs. For the prosecution, this would be a premeditated murder.

The woman was killed and a man was sought, perhaps a straggler, who had spent the evening with the girl. To nail him, as reported today by the Messenger, would be the video reconstructed by investigators of the Flying Squad with dozens of clips of footage taken from as many surveillance systems.

While the woman is leaning against the parapet he suddenly grabs her and throws her down
In the video it is night and you can see Imen leaving a bar in Piazza Venezia together with the man, perhaps a foreigner, and then again we see the girl walking away towards Trastevere. At the end of the evening, walk briskly, think you are alone. Instead, the man with whom he had spent the evening follows her from a distance and, having reached Ponte Sisto, while the girl is leaning against the parapet of the Lungotevere dei Vallati, hesitates a little, then suddenly grabs her and throws her down.

The woman, according to early surveys, showed no signs of violence compatible with an aggression or a struggle. The video would now clarify the dynamic.
