A Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli Occupation Police yesterday morning while chasing his car in Jerusalem.

He was seriously injured and was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Meanwhile, Palestinian journalists in the West Bank and Gaza Strip demonstrated in solidarity with a colleague whom he appointed by the Israeli army during clashes two days ago.

Ghassan Daghlas, the official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, said that the Israeli authorities handed the municipalities and village councils in Salfit orders to seize hundreds of dunums in Deir Istiya, Kafel Haris, Burqin, Kafr al-Dik, Deir Ballut, Askaka, Masha and Zawiya for settlement expansion.

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation authorities, today, reopened the Gaza Strip crossings after a five-day closure due to the recent escalation in the Gaza Strip.
