“We are considering the possibility of international cooperation on the MS-21 aircraft. Our task is to bring its annual production in the future from 70 to 120 units, ”his statement at the RIA Novosti Dubai Airshow 2019 cites.
Currently, the production of MS-21 is carried out at the Irkut factory in Irkutsk, the equipment of which does not allow to produce more than 70 aircraft per year.
“Therefore, we are looking with interest at international cooperation involving such companies in the production of aircraft,” the head of the UAC explained.
In September, the MS-21 made its first international flight from Zhukovsky to Istanbul to participate in the Technofest festival.
