In a report, the government looks at the problem of domestic violence, while a 131st feminicide took place Sunday, November 10 in Alsace. A white march is also organized Sunday in Oberhoffen-sur-Moder, in Lower Rin to pay tribute to Sylvia, killed by his spouse with stab wounds.

While the General Inspectorate of Justice has written a report on domestic violence, commissioned by the custody of the Seals, Nicole Belloubet, a 131st feminicide was held Sunday, November 10, in Alsace, Oberhoffen-sur-Moder, where Sylvia has received several stab wounds from her spouse. A white march is organized in this village of Bas-Rhin, by the city of the victim.

A mobilization that obviously pays tribute to Sylvia, but the goal is also to respond to battered women, who must speak, testify and come forward to "stop feminicides," says Stella. The white march leaves the town hall of Oberhoffen-sur-Moder and ends in front of the victim's home, with a minute of silence. Stella asked participants to adorn themselves with pink, referring to her mother's favorite color.

A life marked by blows

Died at 40, Sylvia Auchter, her maiden name, has always experienced domestic violence. When she was a child, she saw her mother being beaten, a spiral from which she could never get out, stabbed by her companion. She was in full separation, her relationship with her husband, Jacky Walter, had become chaotic. Against alcoholism, he raised more and more hands on Sylvia. The hospital assistant had filed a handrail in September, then filed a complaint in October, the divorce was due in January.

The husband of the victim was indicted for spousal murder. 80% of the complaints transmitted to the public prosecutor's office were dismissed, among the cases studied in the report revealed by the Journal du dimanche.
