During the week, the damage occurred at playgrounds in Vrigstad and at Vallsjö School in Sävsjö. Again, this is about screws removed from rocking racks. But decorations in a subway tunnel have also been broken.

- We think this feels really boring. Repairing an injury costs a lot of money and in turn can mean that we can get in on other, nicer things in town, says Planning and Development Manager Kristin Nilsdotter Isaksson in a statement on Sävsjö Municipality's website.

A dozen cases

At the beginning of November, SVT Nyheter Jönköping reported similar damage to rocking scaffolding.

- It has come and gone and now we can see that it has come back. The last of the screws removed at a playground was only a few weeks ago, said Erika Tor Rundblad, head of service management in Sävsjö municipality then.

It has now happened again and the municipality estimates that about ten similar cases of damage occurred during the year. As yet, no children have been harmed.

The art of the illuminated pedestrian tunnel in the form of paintings with old pictures has also been destroyed, most recently a few weeks ago. The municipality continues to urge the public to exercise caution and pay attention.
