A year after the first demonstration of the "yellow vests", authorities face the influx of many protesters in Paris on Saturday, with violent clashes observed in places. Yves Lefèbvre, General Secretary Unit SGP Police-FO, was on Europe 1 Saturday.

Outbreaks of violence in Paris and a return to the roundabouts of France: the first anniversary of the "yellow vests", which aimed to give a second wind to their movement of social protest, is marked by the return of chaos in some neighborhoods from the capital. While they have struggled to mobilize for months, protesters have beaten the reminder ahead of the day, calling on social networks to more than 250 actions in France, from simple towing to the parade.

The Place d'Italie, in the 13th arrondissement of the capital, was particularly the scene of clashes and degradations. Yves Lefèbvre, General Secretary Unit SGP Police-FO, commented on Europe 1 this day of mobilization: "Today in Paris, it is not a manifestation of Yellow Vests, it is a manifestation of breakers, black blocks, thugs, in short, quasi-criminals ".
