The Firefighters of the Community of Madrid have had to make two bailouts this Saturday in La Pedriza. The first is that of a 12-year-old boy with knee dislocation. Next, 18 boy scouts between 11 and 14 years of age were assisted with their five monitors.

The group had been lost near the Helm in the Umbria Calderón of the Madrid mountain range. The rescue was especially complicated because it is a slope with 20 degrees of inclination full of snow and ice.

In addition, the large group was not sufficiently equipped, according to sources of Emergencies Madrid.

Everyone is in good condition and will sleep tonight at the Giner shelter in La Pedriza as planned.
