- The oil came from a larger tractor that had failed. A distance of 300 meters has got hydraulic oil on it, says Kent Hoff at the Rescue Service in eastern Blekinge.
The Swedish Transport Administration will carry out the remediation work because it is such a long stretch.
- We at the rescue service have taken care of the accident site itself and limited the damage of oil spills to the roadway, so nothing in nature has run out. The accident happened in a conservation area, says Kent Hoff.
The road will be temporarily closed during the remediation work.
