In Russia, it was proposed to establish a minimum salary level for public sector employees

The document, submitted by the Parliament of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, is published in the electronic database of the State Duma.

The bill provides for the addition of Article 144 of the Labor Code of Russia to establish additional guarantees for medical workers, teachers, as well as employees of state and municipal institutions working in the field of culture.

“The monthly wage ... cannot be less than twice the subsistence level for the able-bodied population established in the subject of Russia in which such an employee carries out labor activities,” follows from the draft law.

If it is necessary to increase the level of salaries in accordance with the bill, it is proposed to use "incomes increased as a result of improving the domestic economic situation, the growth of the economy and the manufacturing sector."
