It is believed that their death occurred as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning.

“The bodies of a 77-year-old woman and four minors were found in one of the apartments ... According to preliminary data, five people died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning,” she said.

Harutyunyan noted that the criminal case was initiated under the article “release or sale of goods, performance of work or the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in the death of two or more persons”.

Previously, investigators opened a criminal case after the death of three people in a private residential building in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk region from carbon monoxide poisoning.
