A group of agents of the Venezuelan public force stormed this Friday in Caracas at the headquarters of Voluntad Popular (VP), party of the president of the Parliament and opposition leader Juan Guaidó, recognized as president in charge of Venezuela by almost 60 countries.

The agents, hooded and with long weapons, entered the offices of VP and asked those present to deliver their mobile phones and lie on the ground, as seen in a video broadcast by the party, and left the place about 40 minutes later without identifying .

The leader Roland Carreño told reporters that the alleged officials stole computers, mobile phones, identity documents and an undetermined amount of money for now.

Another of the VP activists, who was detained at the scene, reported that the hooded men "beat them."

Earlier, the undersecretary of the Venezuelan Parliament, Roberto Campos, reported that the agents belong to the Special Actions Force (FAES), a division of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) accused by the United Nations of systematically violating human rights.

About 30 people, collaborators and party militants, were in the place finalizing details of the demonstration on Saturday, when Guaidó has called a major protest against the Government of Nicolás Maduro.

Guaidó went to the site and said that such acts strengthen the reasons for participating tomorrow, when the ruling Chavism has also called for mobilizations "in defense of the revolution."
