It was in October last year that the incident occurred. The mare was pregnant at the time with the breeding stallion Maharajah and inquired on Gotland. The day after the fighter jet's flight, bleeding from the horse was detected and a veterinarian was able to determine that the fetus was lost.
The stud had initially asked for more than SEK 600,000 in compensation.
