During a conversation with investigators, the man told the details of what had happened, and also stated that he repented of his deed.
“I repented when I came to my senses and saw what happened,” the suspect says in the video.
According to him, after the murder, he put the girl’s body in his car and drove to the place where he tried to hide him. The record shows how the stepfather shows the ditch to law enforcement agencies in which they found the murdered child.
Previously, investigators opened a criminal investigation into the disappearance of a five-year-old girl from a house in a village in northern Crimea. She was later found dead in a ditch. Investigators suspected the stepfather of killing the child, as a result, the man confessed to the murder and attempt to hide the body.
