This was reported by the press service of Ukrainian Railways.

“The security department of Ukrzaliznytsia, together with law enforcement officers, discovered a cryptocurrency (bitcoin) mining farm that worked on the company's electricity ... The estimated amount of losses since the beginning of the year is $ 41 thousand,” the report said.

It is noted that in the room where the farm was located, more than 100 pieces of computer equipment were found that were connected to the company’s power grid.

A criminal case was instituted on this fact.

In August, it was reported that employees of the investigation department of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) of the Nikolaev region discovered that they were mining cryptocurrencies at the South Ukrainian NPP.

PwC economist from the Netherlands, Alex de Vries, in an interview with 360 TV channel, appreciated the possibility of circumventing sanctions using cryptocurrencies.
