The university has invited "to not show up on campus", blocked by a group of students. They say they are in solidarity with the young man who immolated himself in front of the Crous on November 8th to protest the student precariousness.

It is a group of several hundred young people gathered against student precariousness. The University of Nantes asked students Friday "not to appear on the campus Tertre" Friday because of blockages by protesters wishing "to end the precariousness."

"Following the blocking this morning by dozens of protesters, classes can not be held this Friday, November 15, in the following buildings: New Tertre, Censive, Igarun, Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​and Cultures, Faculty of Law, IAE Students are advised not to show up on campus today, "said the university in a statement posted on his Twitter account.

"Between 150 and 300" students were present "to testify and make demands to end the precariousness (...) one week after the burnout by the comrade Lyonnais in front of a Crous", according to the Facebook account "University of Nantes in struggle".

A 22-year-old student, who immolated himself in front of a university restaurant in Lyon on November 8, is still between life and death at the hospital. In financial difficulty - he had lost his scholarship "tripled" his second year at the University of Lyon 2 - the young man had explained his gesture in a message where he alerted about student precariousness.

At the beginning of the week, this drama provoked mobilizations sometimes punctuated by incidents on campuses in Paris, Lyon or Lille.
