In this interactive map you can click ahead and see how many potentially polluted places there are where you live. The places that are marked on the map are those that belong to the highest risk class, that is, where the risk of pollution that can harm people or the environment is very high, and which are the highest priority to investigate. There are a total of 1,000 such objects in the country.
In total, there are over 80,000 objects that the county administrative boards have identified as places where there may be pollution due to old businesses and companies. 3,500 of these are in Uppsala County.
SVT Pejl compiled the interactive map in 2013 based on information from the county administrative boards. Since the map was made six years ago, there may be deviations.
