Sibeth Ndiaye, spokesman for the government, reacted on Europe 1 to the day of mobilization of the hospital sector which demands a "plan of emergency".

INTERVIEW

Thousands of people from the hospital sector marched through the streets of Paris on Thursday for the "dead hospital" day. In white and blue coats, several thousand health workers demonstrated to demand an "emergency plan" and "put pressure" on the government, summoned to "take this crisis seriously".

"We are perfectly aware of the difficulty that is that of the public hospital," said Thursday on Europe 1 Sibeth Ndiaye, spokesman for the government. "We first made the choice of an in-depth transformation of the system to address the very deep dysfunctions that exist in this system."

While the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, announced Thursday "strong decisions" for next Wednesday, Sibeth Ndiaye did not want to give any figures not to bypass the government announcements, including refusing the rumor of an unblocking 200 million euros. The various trade union movements require around 1.5 billion euros to respond to the crisis hit by the public hospital.
