WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A dog charity in the US state of Missouri has adopted a puppy with a tail in the middle of his face and vowed to take care of him as a rare case of dogs, with special needs for animals.

Radiographic tests showed that the tail in his face did not have a bone, which means that the puppy can not shake or use it to wipe his eyes, and called it "Nerwal" after the trout whale trunks rhinoceros because of the tail carried in his skull.

The charity published a video of the 10-week-old puppy, saying it impressed him and said many of them had come to watch, caress and take pictures with him, the Independent newspaper reported.

The association's director, Rochelle Stefan, said her center was interested in helping dogs with special needs. She had already received a five-legged dog, a three-legged German, blind and deaf animals, cleft lips and itchy dogs. An appendage in his skull.
