WASHINGTON (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump has acknowledged acts amounting to bribery in Ukraine's scandal at the center of a Democratic-led probe to hold Trump accountable, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Thursday.
"Bribery is the granting or withholding of military aid in exchange for a public statement about a fraudulent probe into the election. This is a bribe. What the president has acknowledged and says is perfect, I say it's a pure mistake. It's a bribe," Pelosi told a news conference.
