The National Meteorological Center (NMC) reported that the state was affected this week by a state of atmospheric instability, causing temperatures to drop significantly in most areas of the country, recording a minimum of 7.7 degrees Celsius.
The Center noted - in an awareness bulletin posted on its official page "Twitter" - that this week also witnessed the formation of cumulative rainy clouds on the western islands and some northern areas of the country, and still formations exist in some areas on the Arabian Gulf, noting that the highest amount Rains recorded by the state this week were 37.8 mm, with a maximum wind speed of 81.6 km / h, on the Abu Dhabi Corniche.


The Center predicted that the cumulative clouds will continue to form over limited areas of the country during the next two days, due to the increase in relative humidity on the ground surface in conjunction with colder conditions in the upper atmosphere, noting that the next Saturday and Sunday will see a proliferation of clouds on the sea, islands and some coastal areas.


The Center also expected rain at the beginning of next week, the situation will gradually increase mid-week, due to the deepening of the air depression in the upper air layers, accompanied by a cold air mass from the north-east of the country, which leads to rainfall of different intensity on most coastal areas and some inland areas In the country, sometimes accompanied by lightning and thunder, with the possibility of running valleys and rising water in low-lying areas.
Wind speeds would increase dust and dust, with low visibility and sometimes no visibility.
