Ebola epidemic in the DRC: "a second vaccine tested for preventive coverage"

Médecins sans frontières is launching a new clinical trial on November 14th against hemorrhagic fever which has been raging for a year and a half in the DRC and has killed nearly 2,200 people. The protocol allows up to 50,000 people to be vaccinated in two injections depending on the epidemic. All people who participate in the study are volunteers.

Dr Véronique Urbaniak, immunization coordinator for Doctors Without Borders France, based in Goma, DRC, reviews the objectives of this study.
