There are hundreds of lights, small heat lights and slightly larger burial lights, outside the pizzeria on Ystadsgatan where 15-year-old Jaafar was shot last Saturday night.

His friends and other young people take turns taking care of the place. They light candles that have gone out and replace some flowers with new ones that Malmö residents and others come with.

Some distance away, at Möllevångstorget, people have gathered to manifest themselves against the violence. Jaafar is the latest victim of the deadly violence in Malmö. He was only 15 years old.

Affects the image of Malmö

- I didn't know the boy who died but my mother's heart was crying. I cried all Sunday, says Liliana Vega who participated in the manifestation.

Other participants express how the violence affects the people of Malmö and the image of the city in the rest of the country.

Speeches were held from the organization No2Crimes which was behind the manifestation and a silent minute was held for Jaafar and other victims of the violence.
